Painting again, walls not canvas

abstract self portrait...abstract paintings are still new to me, something that I don't normally do but then again, I've had to do a lot of things I normally don't do these days with T gone. Three months have passed and it's been difficult to paint in my normal style. I didn't realize how much ones emotions play on your creativity.

I'm still painting but instead of painting canvasses I've been painting the walls of my living room, doing a bit of a makeover, adding color to the blah white walls, new floors and mouldings. I figured if I can't create on canvas I can continue to use my creative juices somewhere else.

I did this piece the other night, kind of by accident. I started a painting then spilled paint ...kept on spilling, drizzling and this is what became of it. Kind of different but cool ... I think?
