I've had some time to relax and paint waiting for Christmas to arrive. I have a few more weeks off so it should be a nice time to squeeze in some painting. I have a favorite red chair, it represents home to me and my kids. I think I may do a series of these. I also found an oval canvas that was perfect for El Sol y La Luna.

This was my Christmas centerpiece. Very simple to do. Cut roses stems off and float over cranberries and greenery from Christmas tree. Add floating candle. When it's lit it makes the rose petals glow.

Haven't had a whole lot of time to paint this year. I am really looking forward to next year and hopefully set aside more time to my creative side. I painted an angel this week. Seems like I paint them at times when things are bit stressful. Here she is. I think she measures 10x10 inches.
