Artist Defection A Theory on why artists leave the field, by Jezli Pacheco 

New mini painting "mujer" acrylic on wood block 3x5inches. High gloss almost looks like a ceramic tile. I've been experimenting with different glosses. This one was glossed with "triple thick". The sides are painted black. Will probably go on the auction block ...but I think I will live with it for a while.

If only I could afford to buy these I certainly would. If you are a serious art collector these are definately ones to consider. Best of luck to you Mr. Escalet you are an inspiration. Many years ago Mr. Escalet gave me some wonderful advice on following my dreams of becoming an artist. I will be forever grateful for the time he took out of his busy schedule to talk with me.

I found this to be an interesting article considering Trosky's relationship with Frida. It's a bit morbid that someone would want the vessel that killed a person or would want to sell it.

A new angel for the Angel Series. Mini painting 4x4 inches on watercolor paper, mixed media. (ink, watercolors, acrylics). I have a bunch of unfinished minis and aceo that I started a couple weeks ago and will be finishing up. Most of them will be going up on Ebay.
